The December Roundtable on 12/14 is the second turn-in day for charter renewal packets. If you need any assistance in completing your packets, please feel free to contact either our District Commissioner (Kirsten Turner), or our District Executive (Thomas Farmery). If you have them completed early (which we highly recommend!) they may also be turned in at the December District Meeting on 12/7. If we are successful as a district in getting 100% of our packets turned in before the deadline, our Council Commissioner, Jenny Chapin, will provide dinner at our February Roundtable!
Nominations for Pickett's Mill District Awards must be submitted by December 1st. Complete the PDF nomination form and send it to the email address indicated on the form. Awards will be presented at the December Roundtable meeting on Thursday 12/14.
There will be training for all cub scout leader positions (Cubmaster, Assistant Cubmaster, Den Leader, Assistant Den Leader, Pack Committee members) at the September Roundtable meeting this Thursday (9/14) 7:00 - 9:30 pm at the LDS Church on Ensign Drive. The trainers are asking for a $5 donation to cover the cost of the printed materials. Please contact Jeanine Southall to let her know you will be attending the training so they can have materials prepared for you.
The district will host Den Leader training at the September Roundtable meeting on September 14th. The cost is $5.
There will be no roundtable meeting next week. The fall recruiting kickoff will instead take place on the following Thursday (July 20th) at 7:00 pm in White Oak Park.
